how it fits

we've noted down a few measurements to give you a more accurate indication of whether or not this garment will fit you like a glove.

so what we've done is measured the actual garment at particular points. we recommend getting out your measuring tape (or string and a ruler) and checking your own measurements against the tables below. bearing in mind we design hoping that you can have your cake and eat it too, ask yourself - if the waist measurement of the garment is 90cm, will it fit me well? will i be able to eat lunch? will i be able to eat dessert? here at twenty-seven names we're all about 'wearability' whilst remaining très chic. as a rough guide - you want your own waist measurement to be 3-4cms smaller than the waist measurement of the garment you're purchasing.

bust: take your tape measure and string it around your back to the centre front, keeping it level with the fullest part of your bust.

waist: measure around your natural waistline, above your hips and at the bottom of your rib cage.

hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips/bum. try to keep the tape in a horizontal circle, if it goes on an angle the measurement will be incorrect.
